DAVIESS CO., Ky. (WFIE) - The Daviess County Sheriffâs Office says the man they were looking for after a burglary last week has been caught.
They say Owensboro Police arrested 30-year-old Robert Simpson on several warrants Sunday.
Deputies say he was wanted in a burglary case that happened last Tuesday evening in the 4600 block of Medley Road.
They say two suspects took off running when they arrived.
One of them, 28-year-old Darren Simpson, was caught. Heâs Robertâs brother.

OWENSBORO, Ky. (WFIE) - The airport director at Owensboro-Daviess County Regional Airport was arrested Thursday, accused of impersonating a law enforcement officer.
According to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a disturbance at the home of Robert Barnett Jr. on Friday, January 22.
Deputies say when they arrived, Barnett identified himself as a law enforcement officer and showed a badge.
Remains found in Daviess County are man missing since 2019
The remains were found Sept. 12, 2020 in a heavily wooded area along County Road 300 West and Hawkins Creek.

DAVIESS COUNTY, Ind. The Daviess County Sheriff s Office said remains found in Maysville, Indiana are those of Daniel Grannan. A Silver Alert was issued for Grannan in August of 2019.
The remains were found Sept. 12, 2020 in a heavily wooded area along County Road 300 West and Hawkins Creek. DNA testing and work done by the University of Indianapolis Anthropology Department identified them as Grannan s remains.

OWENSBORO, Ky. (WFIE) - Two Owensboro men are in jail on burglary charges early Saturday morning.
Deputies responded to a burglary in progress at Yellow Creek Park around 2:30 a.m.
According to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, the park director called authorities saying he could see two men on camera trying to get inside the maintenance building.
Deputies say they found the entry door open and saw two men running from a side door. They say 36-year-old Dallas Lanham was caught a short distance from the building and 35-year-old Brent Watson was found in an adjacent open business.
