“I know that there’s been some talk about vehicle noise and stuff like that,” he noted at the meeting.
“There’s cars and motorbikes that make a lot of noise when they go down the street, and so we’re hearing that at the detachment that people would like something done, and I get it.”

“When we think of mental health, we automatically sometimes jump to the conclusion that it’s adults that we’re dealing with,” said Insp. Dave Brunner, Officer in Charge of the Cochrane detachment, in council July 12.

“I’m going to tell you that during the pandemic, our youth liason workers dealt with a lot of young kids that were having mental health issues. We had interventions with ten-year-olds that were suicidal. These are tragic things, and some of the things that we’re going to be doing here in the future are going to try and address those issues with the youth.”
