(Tribune File Photo) BAD AXE The Huron County Board of Commissioners adapted a new COVID-19 Preparedness and Response plan for county employees to follow for the next few months. Jodi Essenmacher, the executive assistant for the county’s board of commissioners, is listed in the plan as the worksite supervisor, which she describes as being the point person who will answer questions about it. “If I don’t have the answer, I’ll find the answer,” Essenmacher said. The new plan follows the template the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration laid out, while the previous plan followed the template laid out by the county’s liability insurance provider. Essenmacher said that Steve Allen, the county’s corporation counsel, recommended the county follow MIOSHA’s guidelines that were laid out in March.
