BNP observed historic March 7 with an ulterior motive: Hasan 263 DHAKA, March 9, 2021 (BSS) – Urging BNP to seek apology from the countrymen for distorting the history, Awami League Joint General Secretary and Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud today said BNP observed the historic March 7 with an ulterior motive. “BNP should apologize to the countrymen for distorting the history … Please, don’t make hypocrisy any more with the people through observing any historic day with an ill motive to destroy the history,” he told a discussion at Awami League office in city’s Bangabandhu Avenue. Dhaka city unit of Sheikh Russel Jatiya Shishu-Kishore Parishad organized the discussion marking the historic March 7 speech of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

BNP’S ill motive revealed through speeches of their leaders on March 7 : Hasan 430 DHAKA, March 7, 2021 (BSS) – Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud today said BNP’s ill motive has been reveled through the speeches of some leaders of the party on the occasion of the historic March 7. “We were really astonished when BNP declared that they would observe the historic March 7 after 50 years. BNP founder Ziaur Rahman and his wife Khaleda Zia did not give permission to play the March 7 speech of Bangabandhu when they were in power, even they banned uttering the name of Bangabandhu,” he said. The minister said this while addressing a lighting festival in city’s Gulshan park tonight.
