LAHORE: SACM on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has said the PTI government has made record legislation under Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision for masses betterment, adding that the Punjab Assembly has passed 75 bills despite having the largest opposition in history, which shows the best example of good governance.
This is an important step towards the transformation of the system to facilitate the common man. She said this while talking to media outside the Punjab Assembly Wednesday. She said the rules of procedure of the Punjab Assembly have been amended with the support and encouragement of Speaker Pervaiz Elahi and production orders have also been issued as and when required.

LAHORE: Special Assistant to CM on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the PMLN is the originator of the use of money and rigging in the electoral process and has always preferred a corrupt system.
In a statement, Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said that this party used to engage in corrupt practices for the sake of staying in the political arena. “The PMLN has exposed its corrupt political designs by evading electoral reforms,” she said. The inefficient and defeated opposition has faced defeat at every front and the PDM has also ended in a fiasco, she added.

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd May, 2021 ) :Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Monday said the present government stood committed to the welfare of the underprivileged strata of society.
Talking to the media here, she said that PunjabChief MinisterSardar Usman Buzdar was working hard to materialize the dream of construction of low-cost houses into reality.
Dr Firdous said that 133 sites had been identified across the province for Prime Minister s affordable housing scheme and 54 locations had also been chosen in the first phase for the construction of houses. The work would be started on a priority basis at 32 sites, she said.

LAHORE: Special Assistant to Chief Minister (SACM) on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has said CM Usman Buzdar has taken notice of the Sialkot incident and sought a report and also ordered for an impartial inquiry into the incident.
Talking to the media at DGPR Office here on Monday, she said every aspect of the incident would be investigated and an inquiry report would be submitted to the chief minister. She said the matter related to public relief was mismanaged in Sialkot and the Punjab chief secretary was also provided wrong information about the incident.
Dr Firdous said the chief minister had expressed displeasure over long queues of people for sugar at Ramazan bazaars. The government representatives were responsible if the standard operating procedures (SOPs) were not properly implemented, she said.
