“17-year-old Elexia Meeker of Bedico has been missing since early this morning,” said TPSO spokesperson Dawn Panepinto. “Elexia has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Her family and our detectives are worried about her.”
Gunfire hit three people, one fatally, in the parking lot of Club 81 at 3 a.m. today in the Village of Tangipahoa.
Chief Jimmy Travis of the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff s Office, which is assisting the village police department in the investigation, said one person died on the scene and the other two were taken to area hospitals. The authorities have not yet released any names.

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - After fighting for his life against COVID-19 since December, Sgt. Charles Warren with the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriffâs Office will finally be reunited with his family on Wednesday, May 5.
Warren, 59, is a retired Air Force veteran and has spent the last 29 years in enforcement. He was diagnosed with COVID-19 in November 2020.
âHe first went in the hospital; I want to say it was December 6,â said Donna Warren, Charlesâs wife. âAnd from that time on, itâs just been one big roller coaster ride.â
