Indore (Madhya Pradesh) [India], January 7 (ANI): As part of nationwide COVID-19 vaccination dry run on Friday, Indore will also hold the mock drill and it will be conducted at four centres.
COVID Nodal Officer Dr Amit Malakar said that the mock drill will be conducted at four centres in Indore and for 25 people each. These dry runs will be conducted between 9 am and 11 am at four centres in Indore. They will be monitored for 30 minutes by health officials. Officials from our partner agencies like World Health Organisation and United Nations Development Programme will also be present, Malakar told ANI.

New Delhi, Jan 6 : The Union Health Ministry on Wednesday asked people not to download or register on several fradulant applications named CoWIN which are available on app-stores. Some apps named CoWIN apparently created by unscrupulous elements to sound similar to the upcoming official platform of the government are on app-stores, the Health Ministry alerted.
The ministry added, Do not download or share personal information on these. The MoHFW official platform will be adequately publicised on its launch.

The app introduced by the central government is currently in its pre-production stage and hasn t gone live on Google play store or any other App store.
CoWIN (COVID-19 Vaccine Intelligence Network) is a repurposed version of eVIN (Electronic Vaccine Intelligence Network).
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on January 6 warned people against downloading fake CoWIN (COVID Vaccine Intelligence Network) app from app stores. The Co-WIN (COVID Vaccine Intelligence Network) app, a digital platform created for real-time monitoring of COVID-19 vaccine delivery and distribution by the Centre, is almost in its final stages of implementation and hasn t gone live on Google play store or any other app store.
States and UTs have collected data of healthcare and frontline workers who would be administered the anti-coronavirus vaccine on first priority and the data is being uploaded on the Co-WIN software.
