Sergeant John Moreland, 41, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence and obstructing a peace officer Monday afternoon around 3 p.m. at 4720 Tower Road in Denver. According to the probable cause statement, Moreland was initially pulled over by a Denver police officer for failure to drive in a single lane.

Officers from the Scarsdale Police Department responded to a reported hit-and-run at approximately 10:55 p.m. on Friday, July 2, at the intersection of Post Road and Fenimore Road in the village. The fleeing vehicle was described as being a red Honda CRV with heavy front-end damage that sped away south on Post Road.
