A man accused of sexually assaulting Cache County children he met on the internet has been charged in 1st District Court.
Hasan Al Ogaili, 21, faces six first-degree felonies: three counts of child kidnapping, two counts of rape of a child, and one count of aggravated sexual abuse of a child. He also faces a second-degree count of obstructing justice.
The charges were filed against him on Monday prior to his initial appearance in court.

During Al Ogailiâs appearance, Cache County prosecutor Clark Harms told the court the case involved three victims who were all unfamiliar to Al Ogaili prior to the incident.
A Providence man charged in 1st District Court with sexually assaulting a young woman pleaded guilty to amended charges on Wednesday.
Richard Royal Cornell, 74, pleaded guilty to single counts of first-degree forcible sodomy and second-degree forcible sexual abuse.
As part of a plea agreement, three first-degree felonies and a single second-degree felony were dismissed. Prosecutors agreed to a concurrent sentencing, and Cornell is to receive credit for time served, defense attorney Shannon Demler told the court.
Cornell has been held in the Cache County Jail since March 3, 2020, and charges were filed against him the following day.

Cache County prosecutor Dane Murray told the court Cornell had inappropriately touched and âorally sodomizedâ the alleged victim. Documents filed with the court state the victim was 19 years old at the time of the incident.
Smith has been charged with first-degree aggravated burglary, third-degree aggravated assault and four additional misdemeanors.
An affidavit filed with the court alleges Smith unlawfully entered a home and assaulted a family member. The alleged victim told Logan City Police officers he was sitting on a recliner when Smith grabbed him by the neck, pulled him backwards and struck him with fists. Police wrote that the victim sustained bruises, a wound and two broken ribs.

Police wrote Smith was contacted by law enforcement at a residence in Nibley where a SWAT team responded after Smith failed to cooperate with commands.
