The Balochistan High Court on Friday ordered the members of All Balochistan Employees and Workers Grand Alliance to end their sit-in immediately and ordered the government to hold purposeful talks with the protesting government employees and not take any action against them.
A two-judge divisional bench headed by BHC Chief Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhel and Justice Kamran Mulakhel also ordered the imposition of cuts in non-development sector and increase revenue generation. Advocate General Arbab Tahir Kasi, finance secretary, additional chief secretary, and the commissioner of quetta appeared in court to face the petition filed by Advocate Munir Kakar and others pertaining to the sit-in being carried out
He said action has been initiated during which security forces have killed and arrested several terrorists
KARACHI:
Balochistan Home and Tribal Affairs Minister Mir Ziaullah Langau has revealed that terrorist organisations of Karachi and Balochistan are working together in the largest province of the country.
He revealed this while speaking to the media at Karachi Press Club on Monday. Langau said action has been initiated against them during which security forces have killed and arrested several terrorists.
During the presser, he claimed that current law and order situation in Balochistan is better than in the past.
Responding to a question pertaining to missing persons, the Balochistan home minister added that the provincial government was provided with a list of 392 missing persons out of which 300 have been rescued. “The provincial government is conducting further investigations in this regard.”
