Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson says Deputy Coty Arnold was called out to Otter Creek Road where an intoxicated woman was reportedly in the middle of the road refusing to let people by. Deputy Arnold arrived to find 45-year-old Tammy Hubbard there and determined she was under the influence. She admitted to taking meth earlier in the day. During her arrest Hubbard became aggressive, but was quickly taken into custody. She was charged with public intoxication, menacing and resting arrest. Hubbard was lodged in the Clay County Detention Center.

A third suspect wanted in a murder that occurred on Dec. 20 was arrested early Saturday morning.
Freddy Wayne Scalf, Jr., 28, of East Bernstadt was taken into custody at about 1 a.m. after Laurel County Sheriff s deputies learned information on his whereabouts.
Scalf was located off KY 1376, about 6 miles north of London.Â
He was charged with complicity to commit murder.
The Laurel County Sheriff s Office announced Thursday afternoon that a $500 cash reward will be given for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Freddy Wayne Scalf, Jr., 28, of East Bernstadt.

At approximately 8 p.m. Tuesday Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson along with CSO Supervisor Dewey Grubb, Deputy Coty Arnold and K9 Deputy Wes Brumley along with K9 Ghost arrested Ashley Lewis, 30 of London. The arrest occurred after Sheriff Robinson received a tip that Lewis was at a residence off of Cool Springs Road.
Lewis was wanted for complicity to commit murder that happened in Laurel County on Dec. 20.
Upon arrival, Sheriff Robinson and deputies surrounded the residence and located Lewis attempting to hide in a bedroom. Lewis was placed under arrest without incident. TUESDAY AFTERNOON UPDATE
