A release said the offices were also physically re-opened yesterday.
With this resumption many students will resume face to face classes since the college last switched to a fully-virtual format in December 2020.
All administrative offices that went virtual as a result of the explosive eruption of La Soufriere volcano, have also resumed physical operations.
The SVGCC said the public is reminded that the wearing of masks is mandatory on all its compounds and that persons visiting its campuses will be encouraged to undergo a temperature check at entrances, sanitise and social distance.

Yesterday, Monday May 8, 2021 was observed as World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day. In St. Vincent and the Grenadines, the day was dedicated to the volunteers and staff of the Red Cross who are reaching people affected by the eruption of La Soufrière, dengue, and COVID-19, and display a commitment to local community action that is unstoppable, a release stated.
“It has been a difficult time for our communities since the eruption of La Soufrière one month ago. The Red Cross teams have been out learning about needs and providing emergency relief to those impacted. Many of our volunteers and staff have been impacted by the evacuations themselves,” said Bernard Morgan, President of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Red Cross Society (SVGRC).

The UK-SVG Friendship Trust has teamed up with the St. Vincent Co-operative Bank Limited as its local partner to assure the framework for the disbursement of its EC$ 800,000 La Soufriere Volcanic Eruption Recovery Assistance Programme.
The UK based charity has engaged the bank due to its long-standing commitment to the country as one of the oldest indigenous banks, the organisation stated in a release.
The “Penny Bank” with its strong roots in local communities will act to ensure that all funds spent locally are accounted for and that the programme delivers for its intended beneficiaries.

Several persons in the Southern Grenadines have expressed concern about a shortage of water in the islands as a result of ashfall from the volcanic eruption coupled with the dry season.
But Edwin Snagg, the Director of Grenadines Affairs assures that while the Grenadines is prone to water issues, there is no acute water shortage being experienced at the moment.
When La Soufriere began erupting explosively, residents in the Southern Grenadines whose water sources are either black tanks, concrete tanks or barrels, disconnected the spouting to prevent ash from getting into their existing water stores.
