DuPage County State’s Attorney Robert Berlin and Naperville Chief of Police Robert Marshall announced today that bond has been set for a Plainfield man accused of shooting his girlfriend’s brother in the abdomen. Andrew Durham, 23 (d.o.b. 10/10/1997) of the 5400 block of Dale Drive, appeared in Bond Court this morning where Judge Kavita Athanikar set bond at $1 million with 10% to apply. Durham has been charged with one count of Aggravated Battery With a Firearm (Class X Felony) and one count of Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm (Class 1 Felony.)
On June 25, 2021, at approximately 1:49 p.m., the Naperville Dispatch Center received a 9-1-1 call from a female subject who stated her brother was shot and needed an ambulance at Sheridan Court. GLENDALE HEIGHTS, IL Police say an argument over Snapchat is to blame for a 12-year-old boy stabbing another boy, 12, in the abdomen with a Batman novelty knife in Glendale Heights Tuesday afternoon.
Police were called to the 500 block of James Court for a reported fight just after 4 p.m. They found the victim with two stab wounds in his abdomen. The victim was taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not deemed to be life-threatening.
