Man Found Deceased Inside Texarkana Apartment [Update]
The Texarkana Arkansas Police received a 911 call at approximately 9:30 a.m. this morning (5/25) from the Fox Creek Apartments Manager located at 4303 County Avenue.
According to a press release, the apartment manager told the dispatcher that a resident male in his forties had not been seen or heard from in about a week. The manager asked police to respond to do a welfare check on the male.
Once the officers arrived at the apartment complex, they found a male deceased inside the apartment. Detectives were notified and are currently trying to identify the male and notify the family. Detectives are still investigating the scene.

According to the police summary on Facebook, an unknown suspect cut off and stole the catalytic converter off a victims 2003 Ford F350 truck. The suspect appears to be a tall white male who at the time of the crime was wearing dark-colored pants with a big Nike emblem, a gray and black long-sleeved shirt, baseball cap, black mask and sneakers. He was driving a red extended cab Dodge Ram that looked to be a 2006-2009 model. The truck is missing a front and back license plate and also has noticeable damage on the fender.
