Dr. Tindongan received her B.S. in Criminal Justice from the University of Delaware; M.S. in Community Development from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale; and Ph.D. in Cultural Studies in Education from Ohio University.
Tindongan has worked at Ohio University and on community, state, national and international levels in community development, education, and various social justice initiatives including the movement to end homelessness in Ohio and the United States. She served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Philippines and as an assistant field officer with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Hong Kong.
