In a joint press conference Delhi BJP chief Adesh Gupta, Leader of Opposition in the Delhi Assembly Ramvir Singh Bidhuri and BJP MP Meenakshi Lekhi also alleged that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Delhi was crippling the civic bodies financially.

The BJP on Wednesday accused the Delhi government of trying to paralyse the party-led municipal corporations in the city by using means such as stopping the release of funds, reducing financial allocation or shutting Covid vaccination centres run by them.

The Delhi government after “colluding with private health care facilities” has shut all Covid vaccination centres run by the MCDs, Leader of Opposition in the Delhi Assembly Bidhuri alleged. Heavy downpour causes waterlogging, gusty winds uproot several trees; Delhi records lowest-ever temperature in June
Temperatures fell by up to 10 degrees Celsius after a thunderstorm lashed the Capital on the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday.
The city recorded 15.6 mm of rainfall between midnight and 8.30 a.m. on Tuesday. The heavy downpour caused waterlogging across Delhi and gusty winds uprooted several trees.
Twenty nine cases of dengue have been reported in Delhi much ahead of the season of the vector-borne disease, as per a civic report released on Monday.
