NAROWAL: A landlord tortured a six-year-old child to death for refusing to work at village Depoke on the outskirts of Zafarwal on Friday.
Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar severely tortured Noman Hassan, son of a worker, so much that the child died before reaching the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Zafarwal.
A video clip that went viral on social media and was reported in the electronic media shows Sarwar torturing the child, beating him on the back and other parts of the body with an iron rod.

The number of lives claimed by 17-year-old feud between two families in Muridke has risen to 25 after the death of six persons in an overnight attack. The Kasab and Butt groups clashed for the first time in 2004.
Three members of the Kasab group were killed by members of the Butt group in Lahore over after an exchange of harsh words over a cable issue. Three years later, the Kasab group got an opportunity to avenge the casualties, killing eight members of the Butt group.
The enmity continue to intensify over time, although dignitaries of the area and the police repeatedly tried to persuade the rival groups to settle the matter. In 2017, the Kasab group killed five members of the Butt group, including children. Only two members of the Butt family survived the attack. In the latest incident, five people, including Baba Reyasat, the head of the Kasab group, were killed.

MURIDKE (Dunya News) - Five people were killed when a group opened fire on rival group over long-running feud in Muridke Tehsil of Sheikhupura.
Police said that in a long-running feud in Muridke s area of Hudoki, the Butt group opened fire on the houses of the Kasab group, killing five members of the Kasab group on the spot and seriously injuring one.
Panic spread in the area after the incident. The dead and injured have been shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, police said.

Rawalpindi : Five persons were killed in two different incidents in Kalar Syedan and Nasirabad areas of the city. Eight persons were injured here on Friday, the police spokesman said.
The police, however, have hunted down three suspects involved in the killing episode. Dead bodies have been shifted to hospitals for an autopsy.
Four people including two women were killed in a clash of neighbours in village Dhoke Mistariyan, Kalar Syedan, over the construction of a wall which was opposed and resisted by a rival group claiming ownership of the said piece of land, the police said and added eight persons were critically injured in the firing.
