2021-04-23 11:05:53 GMT2021-04-23 19:05:53(Beijing Time) Xinhua English JALALABAD, Afghanistan, April 23 (Xinhua) Two people including a civilian were confirmed dead and another one injured as a blast struck a vehicle of security personnel outside Jalalabad city, capital of Afghanistan s eastern Nangarhar province on Friday, a local official said. The blast ripped through the vehicle at around 1:00 p.m. local time in the Police District 9 on a road outside Jalalabad, killing a security personnel and a civilian on the spot and injuring another security personnel, the official said. Meanwhile, another official said on condition of anonymity that the attacked vehicle belonged to the National Directorate of Security, the country s counter-intelligence agency.
