Riga explains disrespect for the Belarusian flag
President of Latvia Egils Levits said in an interview with TV3 s 900 Seconds program that the decision to replace the Belarusian flag on the flagpoles of the countries participating in the World Ice Hockey Championship came as an adequate political reaction. According to Levits, it also came as a message to everyone else signalling that Latvia does not recognize the regime in the neighboring country.
The incident took place on Monday, May 24, in Riga, near Radisson Blu Hotel Latvija.

MINSK, 16 March (BelTA) – The expansion of direct shipments to the UK market of woodworking products and the establishment of a proprietary distributor of products of Belarusian woodworking companies in the UK are under consideration in the Belarusian timber, woodworking, pulp and paper industry concern Bellesbumprom as the head of a British woodworking company is visiting a number of Bellesbumprom enterprises, BelTA has learned.
Over the course of one week the representative of the British company will visit Bellesbumprom enterprises that make plywood, fiberboards, and chipboards, and laminated flooring. Belarus, Indonesia sign memorandum of cooperation in trade, economy

MINSK, 3 February (BelTA) – The National Marketing Center of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Indonesia Trade, Tourism and Investment Club (ITTIC) signed a memorandum of cooperation and mutual support in the development of trade and economic relations during the Belarusian-Indonesian videoconference, BelTA learned from the press center of the National Marketing Center.
