A new daily rainfall record was set in Cincinnati on Sunday.
Daily rainfall reached 1.76 inches, breaking the previous record of 1.57 inches set in 2017, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, Ohio.
And while the rain is supposed to let up on Monday, the Ohio River set to reach a flood stage of up to 53 feet by Friday.
As a result, sections of Kellogg Avenue from Delta Avenue to upstream near Coney Island and Eight Mile Road will likely become flooded along with part of Humbert Avenue in East End, forecasters say.
