Doh! Snow’s no foe at all!
The National Weather Service in Wilmington officially recorded 6.9 inches of snow from Monday evening into Tuesday morning. With the Level 2 Snow Emergency Tuesday and most people home for the day, we asked our readers to post a photographic slice of their snowy life on our News Journal Facebook page and of course you came through! Wind advisory for some; Icy spots possible tonight, into morning commute Daniel Susco
The rain, sleet and snow mix will wind down over the next few hours, but rapidly falling temperatures along with gusty winds are expected to bring icy spots for some parts of the region into the Friday morning commute, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

Wind Advisory is in effect until 4 a.m. Friday for Champaign, Darke, Logan and Miami counties. Gusty winds between 35 and 40 mph are expected overnight into Friday morning, with a few wind gusts as much as 40 to 45 mph possible for some, the NWS said.
