Posted: Jul 16, 2021 7:48 PM Posted By: Tori Apodaca RED BLUFF, Calif. - Tehama County is introducing a new chronic offenders program to mitigate the number of repeat offenders coming and going from jail, according to the Tehama County Sheriff’s Office. The program will keep offenders in jail until trial rather than letting them out after being arrested. The program will not prevent an arrestee from posting bail to be released. Owner of A&A Tires in Gerber, Ahmad Elshenawy says he sees some people committing the same crimes on the streets in Gerber over and over again.
