New Delhi: Union Minister Nitin Gadkari will on Thursday inaugurate and lay foundation stones for highway projects worth Rs 8,341 crore in Rajasthan, an official statement said.
These projects are for a total length of 1,127 kms. Union Minister for Road Transport, Highways and MSMEs Nitin Gadkari will inaugurate and lay foundation stone for 18 highway projects in Rajasthan tomorrow, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways said.

With a total investment of ₹13,169 crore, all the 33 districts in the State will have National Highway connectivity Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Monday inaugurated and laid the foundation for 14 National Highway (NH) projects spanning 765 km long roads which entail a total investment of over ₹13,169 crore in Telangana.
Interacting over a video interface, the Minister said, “Almost all of the 33 districts in the State today have connectivity with National Highways and Peddapally will also be connected to the network soon.”
The Union Minister for Road Transport, Highways and MSME said 59 road works with an approved length of 1,918 km costing ₹17,617 crore was sanctioned to Telangana during the past six years. Of this, 1,782 km length has already been sanctioned with a cost of ₹15,689 crore.

AAA Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Coal and Mines Pralhad Joshi has said that the proposal to set up a regional centre of Lalit Kala Akademi at either Hubballi or Dharwad has received assent and the municipal commissioner has now been asked to identify land for the purpose.
Speaking at the symbolic handing over of medical equipment worth ₹5.5 crore to Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) in Hubballi on Saturday, Mr. Joshi said that Union Minister of State (Independent charge) of Culture and Tourism Prahlad Singh Patel had approved the proposal.
He had sought a proposal in this regard from the State, which in turn asked the municipal commissioner to identify land and revert to it. The municipal commissioner will soon be suggesting land suitable for the purpose, he said, adding that it would be almost another South Indian centre of the Akademi.

Bengaluru, Dec 19: Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari on Saturday laid the foundation stone for construction of 25 National Highways and dedication of another 8 completed National Highways projects covering a total length of 1,197 kms involving a total financial outlay of Rs 10,904 crore.
Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa presided over the function, in which Gadkari participated through video conferencing, Former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda, Union Ministers D V Sadananda Gowda, Prahlad Joshi and Gen V K Singh (retd), Deputy Chief Minister Govind M Karjol, Senior Congress leader Mallikarjuna Kharge, MP, State Ministers, MPs and MLAs participated in the function.
