OLEAN, NY Ten city residents voiced their opinions on the proposed Civilian Review Board during the Thursday Olean Police Reform and Reinvention Committee’s meeting to discuss the City of Olean Police Reform and Reinvention Collaborative Plan.
Melissa Ensell, Kevin Dougherty, Daniel Gayton, Gary Harvey, Patrick Morgan, Paula Swier, Victoria Swier, Sarah Keenan, Taha Pascucci and Ezra Johnson gave their perspectives on the new measures at the Zoom meeting held by the committee.

North Tonawanda is among those receiving New York State Department of Environmental Conservation grants for urban forestry grants to help communities inventory, plant, and maintain public trees.

North Tonawanda will get $50,000 for a tree inventory and management plan.
The grants are part of DECâs Urban and Community Forestry Program, which works to increase public awareness of the importance of trees and helps communities develop and implement comprehensive tree management plans to create healthy forests while enhancing quality of life for residents.
