A negative RT-PCR report will be mandatory for entering into Maharashtra from May 15.
MANGALURU: The Maharashtra government has made it mandatory for people entering the state by any mode of transport to carry a Covid-19 negative RT-PCR report which is issued within 48 hours prior their arrival from May 15.
An order issued by the in-charge of the domestic and international operation of the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai has also directed all the airlines not to board passengers without a negative RT-PCR report.

The issue of single tender and national policy for import of vaccines was raised in the meeting between Union health minister Harsh Vardhan and health ministers of six states on Thursday.

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], May 11 (ANI): Alleging that there a big vaccine scam popping up in Mumabi, BJP MLA from Mulund, Mihir Kotecha, has demanded a thorough investigation in the matter and said every COVID vaccine administered to residents of the city should be audited.
Kotecha told ANI that a woman approached him for getting a provisional certificate for vaccination despite not taking her first dose. He said she was unsure if she would get the first jab again and sought a probe.
The MLA had also made a tweet earlier seeking an audit into the vaccination in the city.
