Long time MBC TV broadcaster Sweeney Chimkango dies, burial Thursday in Makwasa Long time MBC TV broadcaster Sweeney Chimkango dies, burial Thursday in Makwasa MBC TV broadcaster Sweeney Chimkango dies, Long time television broadcaster and one of the founding staff of Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) TV, formerly TVM, Sweeney Chimkango has died. Chimkango succumbed to Covid 19 at Blantyre Adventist where he had been admitted to for the past two weeks. Chimkango was until his death the Acting Controller of Programs at the public broadcaster. He joined TVM as a Video Editor and later moved to programs. He was the first video Editor.
