Police need help tracking the movements of two cars – a red-coloured Mazda sedan and a green-coloured Subaru Legacy station wagon – through the central city on Thursday. The vehicles were involved in an incident which began about 11.45am on State Highway 1 near the Basin Reserve. Wellington Area investigations manager, Acting Detective Senior Sergeant Steve Wescott, said the cars travelled through the Terrace Tunnel, before coming to a stop on the Tinakori Rd off-ramp just after noon.
