Today’s Star Spangled Salute honors Kansas City World War II Veteran Kenneth Stewart Sr. Kenneth came to the U.S. from Jamaica and served his country proudly. For his 100th birthday his daughter had big plans. A black tie affair, a big celebration worthy of the milestone, however, Covid made that impossible. So, instead, Ginger organized the community looking for 100 cars and 100 good wishes. As you can imagine, it was an easy ask and the other day the parade of cars and wishes drove by Kenneth’s house. His reaction was simple, he said, “It’s a blessing for my age, God is good.” Happy Birthday Kenneth and THANK YOU for your service.
