Springfield, Illinois – On April 28, 2021, members of the Springfield Police Department Street Crimes Unit and the Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force responded to the 3000 block of Interlacken Drive for a report of a wanted subject. Contact was made with 28 year old Andy Broyles Jr. at the residence and he was taken into custody. A search warrant was obtained for the residence and the following items were located and taken as evidence: 103.4 grams of suspected crack cocaine, a Lorcin .380 caliber firearm, $476 in US currency, and various types of ammunition.
Sangamon County State’s Attorney Dan Wright charged Broyles with 2 Counts of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, class X felonies, one count of armed habitual criminal, a class X felony, one count of possession of a controlled substance, a class 1 felony, possession of a weapon by a felon, a class 3 felony, and possession

Springfield police have apprehended a wanted suspect, who is now facing multiple felony counts for drug and firearms offenses.
After receiving a tip, city cops and the Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force located 28-year-old Andy Broyles, Junior, at a residence in the 3000 block of Interlacken Drive. A search of the residence produced more than 100 grams of crack cocaine, along with a gun, ammunition, and cash.
Broyles is being held on $350,000 bond.
A Springfield man was arrested last week on two weapons charges.
Levente Dequeion Ingram, 33, of the 800 block of South 25th St. was arrested for unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon and possession of a stolen firearm.
Springfield Police Department detectives along with members of the U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force had gone to that address because Ingram was wanted on a warrant.
According to online documents, Ingram was sentenced to six years in the Illinois Department of Corrections in 2019 after pleading guilty to another charge of unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon. A battery charge was dismissed at the time under a negotiated plea.
All six are in custody of the Sangamon County Jail.
Charged were Anthony Strange, 24; Mysean Burden, 18; Jahquel D. Pearsall, 18; Michael A. Smith, 27; Jerry E. Broomfield, 18 and Michael A. Benning, 19, all of Springfield.
Smith, Broomfield and Benning all face armed violence charges. The Class X felony is punishable by 15 to 30 years behind bars.
All three were arrested together by the Springfield Police Department s Street Crimes Unit when a vehicle they were in attempted to elude officers in the 1200 block of South Dirksen Parkway late Friday evening.
Officers found a loaded Glock 9mm pistol, prescription pills, cannabis and money in the vehicle.
Collinsville man wanted on child porn, abuse charges located in Illinois

Charles Joseph Zoph, 60, of Collinsville was arrested Monday in Illinois by the Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task of the United States Marshals Service.
A statement from the Grayson County District Attorney s Office said Zoph was indicted by a Grayson County Grand Jury earlier this month for 11 counts of possession of child pornography and five counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child.
Grayson County Criminal Investigator Don Tran, who serves as a Task Force Officer with the U.S. Marshals Service, quickly located Zoph following his indictment. Zoph will be transported to the Grayson County Jail shortly thereafter, the release said.
