Judas Priest has just rolled out the rescheduled dates for its "50 Heavy Metal Years Tour." The trek, which now includes an additional 17 cities added to the itinerary, will feature Sabaton serving as the openers on most of the dates. Tickets go on sale this Friday, June 11th at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.com. Priest is set to hit the road on September 8th at Reading, Pennsylvania's Santander Arena, with the tour winding down on November 5th at Hamilton, Ontario's First Ontario Centre. Frontman Rob Halford said in a statement announcing the new dates: "Defending the heavy metal faith for fifty years, the PRIEST is back!" Guitarist Glenn Tipton added: "Time to don the leather and studs and roll out the PRIEST machine celebrating our 50 Heavy Metal Years!!" Mashantucket Jean Swift, former treasurer of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Council, has been appointed interim chief financial officer of the tribe, which owns and operates Foxwoods Resort Casino.
Swift replaces David Rozen, who resigned as CFO last week, the tribe announced.
Swift, 53, currently serves as a financial adviser to the tribal council. She was first elected to the council to fill a vacancy in 2013 and was elected to a full, three-year term in 2015. She did not seek re-election in 2018.
A certified public accountant, Swift began her career in finance as an auditor with Coopers & Lybrand. In 2019, she was recognized as Executive of the Year by the Native American Finance Officers Association.
