Randell Agriculture s managing director William Randell said the decision had been taken with a heavy heart in the wake of October s blaze in Toftwood which destroyed buildings and stock, as well as leaving one employee hospitalised with minor burns.
While the worker made a full and quick recovery, Mr Randell said the complex insurance claim of the substantial losses had still not been resolved.

Almost 600 people have been allowed to leave the county s largest hospital to continue recoveries from Covid-19.
The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH) is closing in on its 600th coronavirus patient discharge since the first cases of the virus hit the county in March.
And while the hospital is continuing to work through increasing pressure, with the number of cases of Covid-19 on the rise, it will be a landmark figure for the hospital in the fight against the virus.
However, the hospital has also confirmed that Covid-19 cases during the second wave of the pandemic have already surpassed the number experienced during April s peak.

A woman in her 70s is still in a serious condition in hospital following a fatal crash on the A47 just days before Christmas.
Two people were killed and another seriously injured following a crash on the A47 Acle Straight on Sunday, December 20.
Officers were called at 5.15pm to reports of a crash between a Vauxhall Astra and a VW Passat.
The driver of the Astra, a woman in her 70s, and the driver of the Passat, a man in his 40s, both died at the scene.

Eleven more patients with coronavirus who were being treated at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH) have died over the Christmas period.
The hospital confirmed on Monday that a woman in her 80s, who had tested positive for Covid-19 and who had underlying health conditions, had died.
Her death followed an announcement on Sunday that five people who had been diagnosed with the virus had died.
Three men died, including one in his 60s, one in his 70s and one in his 80s. Two were women, one in her 80s and the other in her 90s. All five had underlying health conditions.
