Two people and a dog have died and another person has been left seriously injured after a crash on the A47 Acle Straight, police have confirmed.
Officers were called at 5.15pm on Sunday, December 20 to reports of a collision between a Vauxhall Astra and a VW Passat.
The driver of the Astra, a woman in her 70s, and the driver of the Passat, a man in his 40s, both died at the scene.
A passenger in the Astra, a woman in her 70s, was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with serious injuries where she remains in a critical but stable condition.

But Rebecca Mayhew, the owner of Old Hall Farm, south of Norwich, said it’s important to remain positive and find different ways to celebrate the festive holiday – even if you can’t be with your loved ones.

A woman in her 40s has died in a crash in Norfolk.
Shortly after 6pm on Friday, December 18, police were called to Scole Road in Thorpe Abbotts, following a crash between two cars.
Emergency services attended the scene but the driver of a Ford C-Max, a woman in her 40s, died at the scene.
The driver of the other car, a grey Mercedes GLC 220, also a woman in her 40s, suffered minor injuries in the incident and was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for further treatment.
A143 Thorpe Abbots crash: One woman died and another is taken to hospital following collision

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision on the A143 at Thorpe Abbotts last night.
Officers were called to Scole Road shortly after 6pm following reports of a two-vehicle collision involving a grey Mercedes GLC 220 and a dark coloured Ford CMAX.
Emergency services attended the scene, however the driver of the Ford, a woman aged in her 40s was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are appealing for information.
The driver of the Mercedes, a woman also aged in her 40s was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with minor injuries.
