Tennessee reports new 841 cases, nine new deaths The Tennessee Department of Health announced 841 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours on Thursday. To date, there have been 856,428 coronavirus cases reported as confirmed or probable in the state. Tennessee reported nine new deaths in the last 24 hours. In all, 12,305 people have died in the state as a result of the virus. There are currently 719 people hospitalized in connection to the coronavirus in Tennessee. TDH noted that hospitalization data may be subject to a 24 hour delay. The state reported 835,714 people have recovered so far. Approximately 7.8 million total tests for COVID-19 have been administered.
