The American Legion Post 85 will host a Memorial Day parade and ceremony in Berrien Springs on Monday at 10 a.m. The parade will be followed by a ceremony at Rose Hill Cemetery. More info

The Auxiliary American Legion-Buchanan Post 51 will host the Buchanan Memorial Day Parade at 10 a.m. on Monday. The parade begins in downtown Buchanan and will end in the Buchanan Cometary. More info

The annual Memorial Day parade is scheduled for Monday, May 31st at 11:00 a.m. If you want to be in the parade just show up in the Middle School parking lot by 10:00 a.m. There will not be a festival following the parade.

Memorial Day is Monday, a time to honor those who died while serving in the U.S. military. Many of the area Memorial Day events that were called off last year because of the pandemic are now returning. Here s a list.
Parades

Osceola At 8 a.m. Monday, the Osceola Memorial Day parade will travel west on Lincoln Way to Grand Boulevard. Army Sergeant Jerry Williams is the Grand Marshal.

Elkhart At 2 p.m. Monday, the Elkhart Memorial Day parade will begin near the downtown Post Office and end at Lexington and Waterfall Drive.

Goshen At 10 a.m. Monday, The Goshen Memorial Day parade will start at Jefferson Street, in front of the Police Department, then move to Main Street, to Pike Street, to N. First Street, and will conclude at Oakridge Cemetery with a final ceremony.
Warrensburg Veterans Home Hosting Virtual Memorial Day Ceremony
For the second year in a row the Missouri Veterans Home Warrensburg will be presenting a virtual Memorial Day program on their Facebook page. And we re all welcome to join them for part or all of their ceremonies.
Throughout the day on Memorial Day, Monday, May 31, the Missouri Veterans Home Warrensburg will prost each individual component they would include in a traditional Memorial Day Ceremony the home normally hosts. Numerous individuals and groups spent time creating every component of a Memorial Day Program.
Some of the participants include PB Wilson, lead singer of Dirt Road Addiction singing In Color . Ashlee Martin from Green Ridge High School singing America the Beautiful , members of the Boys and Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri will lead The Pledge of Allegiance and New Score from Smith-Cotton High School will perform our National Anthem.
