An FMCG company has been forcing its employees to come to office – even when some of them could have worked from home – while restrictions on activities are in force, a young engineer from Maharashtra has claimed.
And not just that; some employees were pulled up by the HR department of this company because they took Covid-19 tests found to be positive, creating unrest among the remaining workforce. NIT Srinagar Hosts Virtual Lecture On ‘Building New Start Ups
SRINAGAR: The Department of Humanities, Social Sciences & Management (HSS&M), National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar Thursday hosted a virtual lecture on the process of ‘building a start-up’.
The event was presided over by Director NIT Srinagar, Prof. Rakesh Sehgal who was the chief guest on the occasion and the virtual lecture was delivered by the Director of Zipcho Entertainment Company, Mohammad Younus Budoo (ACS).
On the occasion, Prof. Rakesh Sehgal said the key objective of holding such sessions is that students will learn and will know how to work and execute ideas for processing new start-ups.

In a move that would benefit Commerce students across, UGC has passed an order to treat CA, CS and ICWA qualifications as equivalent to post graduate or PG Degrees. CA, CS, ICWA Qualifications to be equivalent to PG Degree  |  Photo Credit: iStock Images
CA, CS and ICWA qualifications would now be considered equivalent to post graduate degrees. University Grants Commission on Monday released an order to consider the qualifications awarded by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICA), Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICWAI) and Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) to be at par with PG degrees.
