The Congress on Tuesday released the second list of four candidates for the Tamil Nadu assembly elections. According to the list, JG Prince has been fielded from Colachel, from where he is the sitting MLA currently. Another party MLA S. Vijayadharani will contest from the Vilavancode constituency.
Tamil Nadu Youth Congress President JMH Hassan will contest the polls from the Velachery constituency. S Rajakumar has been fielded from Mayiladuthurai.
Congress had released the first list of 21 candidates for the Tamil Nadu polls on March 14. The 234-member Tamil Nadu assembly elections will be held in a single phase on April 6 and the counting of votes will be done on May 2.

He will be contesting from Chennai s Chepauk-Thiruvallikeni constituency on the party s ticket. Ahead of Assembly elections, Tamil Nadu Minister Dindigul C Srinivasan on Friday filed his nomination as the AIADMK candidate from the Dindigul constituency. He is currently the Forest Minister in the Tamil Nadu government. The DMK has allotted the Dindigul Assembly seat to its ally CPI (M). Tamil Nadu assembly elections will be held in a single phase on April 6 and the counting of votes will take place on May 2. The term of the fifteenth legislative assembly in Tamil Nadu is ending on May 2, 2021. The AIADMK is contesting the poll in a pre-poll alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Paattali Makkal Katchi (PMK). The AIADMK has announced names of candidates for 177 Assembly segments. PMK and BJP will contest in 23 and 20 constituencies respectively in the 234-member Tamil Nadu Assembly.
NBCC (India) has executed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 5 March 2021 with National Institute of Technology (NIT), Patna for supervision of construction and development of institute campus, hostel and residential buildings, at NIT Patna.
NBCC is the project management consultant (PMC) for this project of value Rs 468 crore. The announcement was made after market hours yesterday, 10 March 2021.
Separately, NBCC (India) on Thursday, 11 March 2021, announced that it has awarded two separate work orders to Backbone Construction-Sangeeta Engineering & Contracts (JV) and Hayagrev Civil Engineering.
The Backbone Construction-Sangeeta Engineering & Contracts JV has been awarded an order for construction of cooling tower (NDCT) CT-1 for Yadadri Thermal Power Station, (5x800 MW), TSGENCO in Telangana for a total contract value of Rs 45.26 crore.
