Two Arrests Made in Ellis County Murder, Suspect Still In Houston

Ellis County Murder Suspect In Harris County Jail
WAXAHACHIE – The Ellis County Sheriff’s Department spokesperson said late last week that Trenton James Adams has still not been returned to Ellis County.
In a short statement the spokesperson said once the 28-year-old Ellis County resident, Trenton Adams, has been arraigned, and has been cleared by Harris County he will be transported to the Ellis County Jail in Waxahachie, Texas. When he arrives he will be booked in for the Murder of 29-year-old Waxahachie resident Jordan Von Hoffman.
Storm displaced many, caused injuries

On Monday evening, a tornado not only caused a severe accident on I-35E, but also affected Waxahachie residents, with many displaced from their homes.
Of these families displaced, one father and daughter were thrown about 40 feet away from their home after its roof was blown off.
While Rob Parker is recovering from his injuries, Paizlee Parker was left with minor scratches after he shielded her during the storm.
“That night around 11 p.m., we got a call from my dad, Blaise Parker, Rob s 21-year-old daughter from Anderson, said. The EMS lady let him borrow her phone, and he said, ‘We got hit by a tornado,’ and once I heard that, my mind is automatically like, ‘Is he OK, but is my sister OK?’ She’s 5 years old. If a tornado were to hit someone s house, you automatically think the worst.
May 4 Residents in the southern part of North Texas awoke on Tuesday morning to roof damage, fields of debris and downed trees and power lines following a night of severe storms and tornadoes. FORRESTON, Texas The National Weather Service said Tuesday that an EF2 tornado capable of producing winds up to 120 mph was to blame for frantic and chaotic moments WFAA witnessed on I-35E Monday night in Forreston.
Around 9 p.m., the tornado danced across the highway and flipped over three semi-trucks. It also pushed the dividing median into northbound lanes.
