United Airlines launches summer flights from U.S to Greece

Greece has just become a much more accessible holiday destination for Americans, thanks to new routes launched by United Airlines.
Earlier this week, the airline announced that it will be launching a trio of new nonstop routes: Newark Liberty International Airport to Dubrovnik, Croatia; Chicago O’Hare International Airport to Reykjavik, Iceland; and Washington Dulles International Airport to Athens, Greece.
“It’s been creating a pop in searches,” said Patrick Quayle, United’s vice president of international network and alliances.
All three seasonal routes are now available to book for travel starting in July:

JetBlue said April 21 it will offer nonstop flights from Jacksonville to New York City’s LaGuardia Airport beginning in October.
“New York is one of the most popular destinations on the East Coast for Northeast Florida travelers,” Jacksonville Aviation Authority CEO Mark VanLoh said in a news release.
“Whether traveling for business or pleasure, passengers now have more options and will see lower fares.”
The airline did not say on what date the service will begin.
JetBlue is launching direct flights to LaGuardia from several airports. including Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport, Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport, Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport, Nashville International Airport and Portland International Jetport.

Riding on the tailwind of the news that Iceland, Greece, and Croatia are lifting restrictions for vaccinated travelers, United Airlines announced that it is adding three flights to the newly reopened destinations.
Beginning in July, United will begin operating these direct flights:
Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey to Dubrovnik, Croatia, starting July 8 This will be the only nonstop service between the United States and Croatia and will consist of three weekly flights in each direction through October 3. The flights will take place on Boeing 767-300ER planes.
