The female journalist in Adamawa State, who spent eight days in captivity, on Wednesday regained her freedom from her abductors.
Mrs Amra Ahmed Diska, a nursing mother and News Editor with the Adamawa Broadcasting Corporation, Yola, was kidnapped on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, from her residence in the state capital.
Amra’s release has brought joy and happiness to her colleagues, family and well wishers, who had been organising prayers for her safe release since she was abducted.
The state chapter of the Nigerian Union of Journalists had declared a seven-day fasting and prayer for her safe release.
