According to
Variety, the singer has inked a deal with NBCUniversal Television and Streaming.
As part of the deal, Miley’s production company Hopetown Entertainment which she runs along with her mom Tish Cyrus will develop scripted and unscripted projects for various NBCU properties. Miley will have the option to serve as producer, performer and/or host on any number of programs for the network.
In addition, Miley will star in three specials for NBCU, starting with the one-hour Pride concert special
Stand By You, for Peacock. The special was filmed in Nashville and features Miley singing her hits and covering classics “all in the spirit of Pride.”

All about that bass? More like all about that sea bass! Meghan Trainor is set to host her own culinary series, a spinoff of Top Chef that will stream on Peacock.
In a press release, the NBC streaming service revealed that Trainor will present Top Chef Family Style, a new family culinary competition featuring exceptionally talented young chefs who will each team up with an adult family member partner to compete for a chance to be crowned champions.

“This Is Us” fans got the news this week that the NBC family drama will be ending with its upcoming sixth season. That probably didn’t come as a shock to most die-hard Pearson viewers, seeing as series creator Dan Fogelman has been saying for years now that his plan for the show was a six-season arc. What might startle the “This Is Us” crowd, however, is the news that NBC will not be debuting the show’s sixth and final season this fall, and is instead holding it until midseason on its 2021-22 schedule.
