Miley Cyrus has set an LGBTQ Pride concert special called “Stand By You” at Peacock, the first project under a newly announced overall talent and development deal at NBCUniversal Television, the company said Friday.
The one-hour special, filmed in Nashville, will feature Cyrus “singing an array of her hits and putting her creative spin on beloved classics, all in the spirit of PRIDE,” per NBCU. That event is one of three specials Cyrus, a former coach on NBC’s “The Voice,” is working on across NBCU brands under her pact with the studio, which includes a first-look deal between NBCU Television and Streaming and Hopetown Entertainment, the production company run by Miley Cyrus and her mother, Tish Cyrus.

While the wait for
Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 8 feels eternal, the final season of the much-loved NBC comedy has now been fitted with a release date or at least, a very vague and tentative one.
Today NBC announced that Michael Schur s Andy Samberg-led comedy will return for its eighth and final season after the close of the Summer Olympics in Tokyo, giving the show what the network calls the coveted post-Games slot.
While the Olympics are still facing a very uncertain future in the largely unvaccinated Japan, they are currently still scheduled to run in Tokyo from July 23 to August 8. That means,

In a press release, the NBC streaming service revealed that Trainor will present Top Chef Family Style, a new family culinary competition featuring exceptionally talented young chefs who will each team up with an adult family member partner to compete for a chance to be crowned champions.
