Bangladesh to play World Cup qualifiers in Qatar Sports Correspondent 12th March, 2021 09:31:23 Bangladesh will play their remaining matches of the Asian Qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and AFC Asian Cup China 2023 in Qatar.   Asian Football Confederation announced on Friday that all the remaining group stage matches of all eight groups will be held between May 31 to June 15 in centralised venues.   Bangladesh will play against Afghanistan on June 3 while they will take on India and Oman on June 7 and 15 respectively. The venues are yet to be confirmed.   Bangladesh were earlier scheduled to host Afghanistan on March 25 at the Sylhet District Stadium but the visitors preferred to play at a centralised venue due to their travel facilities.
