KENTUCKY (WFIE) - Gov. Andy Beshear announced 1,180 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 30 additional deaths on Friday afternoon.
Kentucky is reporting that 402,930 residents have tested positive since the start of the coronavirus pandemic. The positivity rate currently stands at 5.52% statewide.
As of Friday, 4,600 people have died across the commonwealth due to complications with COVID-19.
“I hope all of our Kentucky families have a great, safe weekend,” Gov. Beshear said. “We’re still not out of the woods with this horrible virus, but every week, we’re taking another step forward in our fight against it.”

KENTUCKY (WFIE) - During the state’s coronavirus update, Gov. Andy Beshear announced 1,447 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 43 additional deaths on Thursday afternoon.
Kentucky is reporting that 401,750 residents have tested positive since the start of the coronavirus pandemic. The positivity rate currently stands at 5.67% statewide.
As of Thursday, 4,570 people have died across the commonwealth due to complications with COVID-19.
