Beshear said. “Each and every loss is singular and heartbreaking.”

Andy Beshear announced 3,728 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 58 additional deaths on Thursday afternoon. Gov. Beshear says this is the highest single-day total for COVID-19 related deaths so far. Kentucky is reporting that 338,034 residents have tested positive since the start of the coronavirus pandemic. The positivity rate currently stands at 11.05% statewide.

COVID-19 update: Henderson County reports 79 new cases HENDERSON, Ky.  The COVID-related death of a Webster County resident was reported Wednesday by the Green River District Health Department. Henderson County recorded 79 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, while 12 new cases were reported in each Union County and Webster County. The GRDHD reported 264 new cases in the seven-county district with 113 in Daviess County, 24 in Ohio County, 14 in Hancock County and 10 in McLean County. The incidence rate, which measures the average daily cases per 100k population over the past seven days, dropped to 67.0 in Henderson County as of Tuesday, which held it in the red or critical level. Union County and Webster County remained in the critical level at 57.6 and 69.5, respectively.

HENDERSON, Ky.  The COVID-related death of a Union County resident was reported Tuesday by the Green River District Health Department. Henderson County recorded seven new confirmed cases of COVID-19 as well as seven new cases in Webster County and one in Union County. The GRDHD reported 143 new cases in the seven-county district with 89 in Daviess County, 30 in Ohio County, five in McLean County and four in Hancock County. The district reported six other new deaths Tuesday  three in Daviess County, two in McLean County and one in Ohio County. The incidence rate, which measures the average daily cases per 100k population over the past seven days, dropped to 76.8 in Henderson County as of Monday, which held it in the red or critical level. Union County and Webster County remained in the critical level at 64.6 and 69.5, respectively.
