Henderson County records 105 new COVID-19 cases over Christmas weekend
HENDERSON, Ky. Henderson County recorded 105 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 over the Christmas weekend as reported Monday by the Green River District Health Department with 13 new cases apiece in Webster and Union counties.
Monday s report was a four-day total because the GRDHD had not issued a report since Thursday because of the holiday.
There were 265 new cases in the seven-county district reported on Monday with 107 of those in Daviess County, 12 in Ohio County, 10 in Hancock County and five in McLean County.
Two COVID-related deaths of Daviess County residents were also reported on Monday with 15 deaths attributed to COVID reported in the district last week.

KENTUCKY (WFIE) - Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear held a COVID-19 briefing at 3 p.m.
Governor Beshear reports 26,336 total vaccines administered in Kentucky. He says 17,752 were from hospitals, 2,788 from local health departments, 3,596 from Walgreens and 2,200 from CVS.

The Governor is reporting 1,455 new COVID-19 cases and eight new deaths.
