With active COVID-19 cases cratering in Huron-Perth, the local health unit on Tuesday declared the end of the outbreak at Caressant Care Nursing Home in Listowel.
“It has been a long, difficult road for everyone at Caressant Care Listowel,” Jim Lavelle, president of Caressant Care Nursing and Retirement Homes Ltd., said in a release. “We are so pleased to see this outbreak end and can’t thank our care partners enough for their support and expertise that helped guide us through this difficult time. I also want to express my sincere condolences to families and staff, who consider our residents part of their extended family, on the passing of their loved ones.”
