BEACHWOOD, Ohio (WOIO) - Beachwood police and investigators with the Bureau of Criminal Investigations (BCI) were called out to a hotel Tuesday morning for a fatal shooting.
Law enforcement officials confirmed the shooting happened at Embassy Suites on Park East Drive around 11: 45 a.m.
When officers arrived at the Embassy Suites, the victim was found in the parking lot and was pronounced dead at the scene.
No information on the victim has been released.
At this time, there are no arrests.
Brianna Ratliff, 20, planned on taking a trip to a gas station on Thursday night
By Friday, she was reported missing after never returning from her excursion
Her body was found by a search dog on Sunday evening
After suspecting foul play, a suspect was taken into custody on Monday

Missing Coshocton Woman found Deceased
COSHOCTON, Ohio – The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a missing person that was last seen on April 15
th at approximately 7:00 P.M in the Hall Park area.
On April 18
th The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office received a phone call from a search party who advised they had located a deceased female matching the description of 20 year old, Brianna Ratliff inside a vacant residence in the City of Coshocton.
Detectives with the assistance of the Bureau of Criminal Investigations processed the scene, located in the 1800 block of Chestnut Street.
This is an ongoing investigation and we are asking for any additional information leading up to the death of Brianna Ratliff from April 15
Anthony Marag begins role as Randolph police chief

The Randolph Police Department recently announced Anthony Marag has officially begun his new role as chief.
Marag is the 11th chief of the department. His Installation Ceremony took place on March 28 and the Oath of Office was provided by Justice Serge Georges Jr. He took over duties following Chief William Pace s retirement on April 2. It is an honor for me to step into this role having served my entire career with the Randolph Police Department, Marag said. The men and women of this department serve selflessly and with integrity and courage and I am grateful to them for their dedication to their community. I would also like to thank Chief Pace for his leadership over the past 10 years and his commitment to the department, and I wish him well in his retirement.
