Despite a limited supply, health officials say you don t have to be a year-round Florida resident to get the coronavirus vaccine.
The Florida Department of Health in several counties has been giving shots to residents 65 and older, but the governor this week asked for patience, saying there isn t enough vaccine on hand for all of the more than four million seniors in our state.
Still, Palm Beach County Health Director, Dr. Alina Alonso, tells CBS 12 News that snowbirds are eligible. They have the same access. It doesn t matter where you re coming from. We want to vaccinate everybody.
