Authorities identified the woman as Cambria Brill, 24, of Deerfield Beach. According to a Palm Beach County Sheriff s Office report, Brill was a passenger on a 2012 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle that crashed shortly before 7:30 p.m. Saturday near Southern Boulevard and Fairgrounds Road.
The motorcycle s driver, identified as Brandon Alford, 30, of Port St. Lucie, suffered minor injuries, the report said. Deputies said the motorcycle was traveling east on Southern on the overpass over State Road 7 when, for reasons unknown, it veered into the left inside lane.
The Kawasaki struck the raised median and overturned, ejecting both riders onto the median. Brill hit a tree as she was ejected, deputies said.
A 59-year-old Palm Springs-area man has died from injuries he sustained last week when he was hit by a vehicle, the Palm Beach County Sheriff s Office said.
Armando Carrasquilla died Friday at St. Mary s Medical Center in West Palm Beach. He was involved in a crash the evening of Feb. 7 on Jog Road south of Forest Hill Boulevard in Greenacres. According to a sheriff s report, a 2014 Chrysler 200 was traveling north on Jog and approaching Forest Hill in the moments before the crash.
Carrasquilla, who was walking east at about 7 p.m., improperly crossed into the Chrysler s path, the report said. He was thrown onto the hood of the car and hit the windshield before landing on the road.

LAKE WORTH BEACH, Fla. â Multiple non-profit organizations worked together on Saturday to help the homeless in Lake Worth Beach.
A Different Shade of Love, Project 1, Dare2Cares Laundry Project, and the Palm Beach County Sheriff s Office were some of the organizations that took part.
They offered mobile laundry services, showers, haircuts and resume services free of charge to homeless people in the area.
GDBC Entrepreneurship Institute also participated. They are a non-profit organization in Palm Beach County that provides job awareness and training for youth and adults.
