In the fourth edition of the ‘TR Talent Pool Profile’ series, TRBusiness speaks to former Bommidala Enterprises Travel Retail Business Development Manager, Dharmender Parmar. During his time working with multinational computer technology company Dell, a chance meeting with an old school friend led to the start of his journey in the channel, which focused on trying to launch new brands and concepts into the Indian travel retail market. In July 2020, TRBusiness and Bluedog Productions  announced the creation of the ‘TR Talent Pool’ Initiative, helping the travel retail industry grow during unprecedented levels of upheaval for its workforce. Monday, 8 March 2021 15:12 Travel Retail Sustainability Week, the duty free and travel retail industry’s first virtual event dedicated solely to sustainability, takes place on 19-23 April. Two major liquor companies are to demonstrate their commitment to creating a sustainable world during the inaugural Travel Retail Sustainability Week virtual event (19-23 April). Beam Suntory and Brown-Forman Corporation are the latest companies to confirm their participation in Travel Retail Sustainability Week. The two companies will have a strong presence at the first industry forum dedicated solely to sustainability. The event features an The Sustainability Pitch allows industry stakeholders to showcase sustainability focused products, packaging, services, concepts and wider corporate initiatives during the five-day event.
